Most of us live in a place of constant stress, whether we realize it or not. Our sympathetic nervous systems – that part of us responsible for fight or flight – seems to always be ignited. This leads to higher levels of stress, increased cortisol in the body, and ultimately dis-ease, be it in the form of physical or mental discomfort, or actual sickness.
During this 45-minute session, expect to take time to pause, breathe, and rest your system so your parasympathetic nervous system – rest, relax, calm mode – turns on. Together we’ll learn simple breathing techniques, a variety of mindfulness tools, and simple ways to meditate no matter where you…
